CAREERS EDUCATION AND GUIDANCE ENTITLEMENT STATEMENT - KEY STAGE 4
As a pupil of King Ethelbert School you are entitled to receive a programme of careers education, information, advice and guidance.
By the end of Key Stage 4 you will be helped to: -

- Use debate, review, reflection and action planning to explore and develop your career ideas
- Use work related learning and experiences to build your skills and to shape your career progression
- Understand and respond to the main influences affecting your learning and work
Find out more about what opportunities there are in learning and work
- Understand the changing world of work and the impact that has on the decisions you make
- Explore and understand the choices open to you once you leave school, by using a wide range of resources and information, advice and guidance
Find out more about how to achieve your goals and ambitions
- Find out how to increase your employability and how to make effective and successful applications for learning and work through to the interview process
- Identify your priorities and options and make decisions for your future that take account of the financial impact of each one
