KESZONE

In 1999 a group of pupils in King Ethelbert School wished to be involved in decisions about how the school was run which affected them.  It was agreed to introduce a school council, and call it KESZone.

Each year all pupils have the opportunity to be elected to represent their tutor group at KESZone.  KESZone today is a group of pupils and staff who meet once a month to consider important issues such as site improvements, peer mentoring, clubs and activities, fundraising, lockers, community involvements, uniform and sevices such as catering, cleaning etc.
