The Learning Resources Centre (LRC) is the perfect place for completing homework, revision and research. Pupils come to the LRC at break to book a computer for lunchtime. It is equipped with a top of the range computer suite and an extensive library, everything a pupil would need for support with homework and projects. There is support on hand for pupils who need assistance. The LRC is open and supervised every break time, lunchtime and after school. (Monday to Thursday until 5 p.m. and Friday until 4.30 p.m.) Reading Champs Reading Champs is a school initiative to encourage pupils to read more. Reading doesn't just have to be for academic study, it is important to read for pleasure and enjoyment. At King Ethelbert School we recognise the importance of literature and encourage pupils with incentives and rewards to develop their imagination, which then gives pupils the confidence to learn independently. |
