Over the summer break there will be extensive building works at the school which will involve considerable changes.  Please find below a link to these changes but note that this plan is flexible and will be subject to continuous amendments.  Staff are advised to check this site regularly should they have any queries regarding dates and progress.

We are now close to finalising all of the summer works.  Building works on the discovery (green) building are virtually finished but we the work on commissioning the ICT equipment continues and we are still waiting for some furniture to be delivered.  On Thursday (26th August) we should get the limb 15 sign off which means that the following day the building shall revert to the school's ownership.  Some staff are coming on Tuesday (31st August) to unpack resources etc and the following day Fox's are on site to help with this process.   

The new kitchen and dining facilities should also receive a limb 15 sign off on Thursday and on Friday all of the resources, equipment etc will be unpacked in this area.  

In both of the above areas the builders are cleaning today (24th August) and they will return on 4 p.m. next Wednesday for a final clean prior to the pupils returning on Thursday. 

Apart from a few very minor snagging issues the temporary administration facility in the old dining hall is complete.  Most of the furniture and equipment has now been relocated to this area.  The ICT and phone systems are up and running but we still need to sort out the fax line.
