Vocational Education

Over recent years there has been a growing recognition nationally of the importance of vocational and work related learning and the need to prepare young people for the world of work.  At King Ethelbert School all students in key stage 4 follow a compulsory element of vocational learning and will opt to follow courses leading to recognised vocational qualifications in a wide range of subjects.   Some of these are delivered at school, others at the Thanet Skills Studio, a collaborative facility available to all key stage 4 learners in Thanet and some provision from individual providers with appropriate expertise e.g. Thanet College.
