The Year 10 Geography class had a day looking at Urban Environments. After a train trip from Birchington (which seemed tiring enough for some) we first visited the sights, Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament, No.10, Buckingham Palace and Trafalgar Square. From here it was on to Covent Garden for a look at the market and the influence of other cultures, plenty of food for sale from all over the World! Then it was on to Leicester Square and finally China Town where some local delicacies were tested! This gave students a flavour of the variety of experiences London has to offer as well as a look at different cultural influences. The students were brilliant and even the staff had a good time!
