12RG a sixth form tutor group organised and ran a charity quiz night in aid of Families against Neuroblastoma. The event was solely planned and executed by the students and was a great success, raising a total of £441 for the students chosen charity. Families against Neuroblastoma is a charity in aid of a form of childhood cancer, which sixth form felt passionate about supporting. It was an excellent opportunity for the students to work well as a team and develop
skills such as; problem solving, conflict resolution, organisation, customer service, communication, public speaking and interaction within the school community. The evening was a great success and the students were very proud to raise such a large sum for their chosen charity. Thank you to everyone that supported the event. Miss Greenstreet, their Form Tutor commented that “…All of the group showed a great level of maturity and I was so very proud of each of them for working so hard. The evening went without any complications and any issues that did arise were dealt with swiftly with no disruption to the event. A fun evening was had by all… Well done Form 12RG!”
